Drain & Spin
An extra drain and spin may heip shorten drying times for some
heavy fabrics or speciai-care items. Drain & Spin may aiso be
used for draining the washer after canceiing a cycie or
compieting a cycie after a power faiiure.
To use Drain & Spin setting:
1. Press RiNSE/DRAiN & SPiN button once. The Rinse & Spin
indicator iight, aiong with the Spin Speed, Water Temperature
and 2nd Rinse iights wiii giow. You may change the Spin
Speed modifier oniy.
2. Press 2nd RiNSE to deseiect Rinse & Spin. The 2nd Rinse
and Water Temperature iights wiii shut off to indicate that a
Drain & Spin cycie has been seiected.
NOTE: A Drain & Spin time of approximateiy 14 minutes wiii
appear in the Estimated Time Remaining dispiay.
3. Press START.
IMPORTANT: Water wiii dispense in the washer for a
moment, the iid wiii uniock, iock again, and then the Drain &
Spin cycie wiii continue. This is normai.
Clean Washer
Use the Ciean Washer cycie once a month to keep the inside of
your washer fresh and ciean. This cycie uses a higher water ievei
in combination with iiquid chiorine bieach to thoroughiy ciean the
inside of your washing machine. See “Cieaning Your Washer.”

USE BLEACH ONLY
IMPORTANT: Do not add detergent to this cieaning cycie. Use
oniy iiquid chiorine bieach. Do not piace garments or other items
in the washer during the Ciean Washer cycie. Use this cycie with
an empty wash tub.
Modifiers aiiow you to further customize your cycies and save
energy.
Soil Level (Wash Time)
Soii ievei is preset for each cycie. See “Preset Cycie Settings” in
“Cycies.” As you press the Soii Levei pad, the cycie time
(minutes) wiii increase or decrease in the Estimated Time
Remaining dispiay. To get the minimum wash time, press the pad
untii the indicator iight next to Light iiiuminates. This is the
shortest wash time avaiiabie for that cycie.

This washer automaticaiiy seiects the spin speed based on the
cycie seiected. The preset speeds can ioe set at a higher or iower
spin speed to match the ciothes ioad. Spin speeds may vary by
cycie.

Wash/Rinse Temp
Seiect a water temperature based on the type of ioad you are
washing. Use the warmest wash water safe for fabrics. Foiiow
garment iabei instructions.
Warm rinses ieave the ioads drier and more comfortabie to
handie. However, warm rinses may increase wrinkiing. Coid
rinses may heip with wrinkiing and save energy.
For most ioads, use the time recommended in the preset
cycie settings.
For heavy soii and sturdy fabrics, press Soii Levei to seiect
more wash time, if needed.
For iight soii and deiicate fabrics, press Soii Levei to seiect
iess wash time, if needed.
