The pointing keys of the 4-Way Internet Scroll pad can also
be programmed to perform specific functions. For example, if
you want your 4-Way Internet Scroll pad to serve as a
gamepad for certain software applications or games, you can
assign specific actions to each key.
To assign a function to the 4-Way Internet Scroll pad,
complete the following steps:
1. From the Windows desktop, click Start, point to Settings,
and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Mouse

icon to open the Mouse
Properties dialog box.
3. Select the Button Actions tab, then select the button and
action you want to assign.
To further customize the 4-Way Internet buttons, you can also
create your own actions to assign. For example, if you want to
open a software application with a single press of a button,
complete the following steps:
1. From the Button Actions tab, select the button you want to
assign a new task.
