How to create a new standard?
•
Click on the “Input Standard” button
•
A “New Standard“ is generated in the next blank row
•
Window “Edit Standard” opens
•
Edit standard

Input of all parameters as described in
“How to edit an existing standard?”
To create a new standard spectral data and tolerances must be input
How to calculate tolerances?
With this function, admissible tolerances based on visually accepted samples
can be established.

How to edit an existing standard?
•
Select row with the standard to be edit
•
Click on the “Edit Row” button
•
Window “Edit Standard” opens
Standard data
•
Input for Name, Date/Time and Comment
Configuration
•
Selection for Color scale, Index and Illuminant
Gloss
•
Activate/deactivate display for gloss
Tolerances
•
Input for the Index (e.g. dE*) and Components
(e.g. dL*, da*, db*) Tolerances.
•
Save master standard in instrument
•
Measure and save accepted samples also as standards
•
Transfer standards to color-Standard-Link
•
Select all rows and click on “Calculate Tolerances” button
•
Tolerances are calculated for master standard in first row
It is recommended to measure at least 20 visually accepted samples.
