Press the Reset-button to quit the setting of date and time.
10.4 Calculating the standard deviation
If you wish to evaluate a complete lot instead of doing a calculation based on a random sample you may change
the standard deviation`s computation formula. The default setting made by the factory is the computation formula
for random samples.

To change the default setting, please proceed as follows:
•
Switch the instrument off.
•
Keep the Reset-button pressed while switching the instrument on.
•
The display shows F01 now.
•
Press the Reset-button until the display shows F08.
•
Select the desired standard deviation computation by pressing the Mode-button.
•
Press the Reset-button until you get back to the main menue.
10.5 Filter function
There are three types of filter: 3 msec, 20 msec, 150 msec. The 3 msec response time is recommended for the
instrument`s application in case of constantly occuring torque variations, vibrations and so forth. An average of all
values measured in the response time will be detected. The 150 msec response time is recommended in the case
of unwanted/unscheduled impulsively occuring changes and so on. By choosing the low frequency, these
abnormal changes will be ignored (“filtered”).
•
Switch the instrument off.
•
Keep the Reset-button pressed while switching the instrument on.
•
The display shows F01 now.
•
Press the Reset-button until the display shows F04.
•
Select the filter function 3, 20 or 150 msec by pressing the Mode-button.
•
Press the Reset-button until you get back to the main menue.
