Note

The deuterium lamp has a small groove on one a side that

fits a small metal pin on the lamp holder b, guaranteeing a
correct positioning of the lamp in the lamp holder.

- Carefully pull the lamp out of the lamp holder and discon-

nect the quick coupling of the cable, the lamp is connected
to. Replace the lamp by a new one and assemble it, follow-
ing these instructions in reverse order.

Note

Never touch the glass parts of the lamp with bare fingers!

After the lamp has been replaced successfully, switch the

instrument on, allowing the lamp to stabilize for approxi-
mately one hour. After that the lamp life time and the light
intensity can be adapted in the calibration menu.
