4 .3 The cell compartment
The cell compartment is located on the right side of the instrument:

The cell itself is accessible from the right side of the instrument by opening the shutter which at the
same time functions as a quick clamping lever for holding the cell in place within the optical path.

Risk of instrument damage by wrong handling.
• Make sure you always place one hand underneath the cell when opening the shutter to
prevent the cell from falling down while it is released! (The correct proceeding can be taken
from the pictures in the following section.)
