Restore From Backup
1. From the FILE TRANSFER menu select RESTORE FROM BACKUP and press ENTER.
2. The display changes to:
ARE YOU SURE?
PRESS ENTER/CANCEL
Press ENTER to continue, or CANCEL to exit this operation.
3. The menu button begins to blink and the display shows:
START RESTORE DEVICE
PRESS ENTER/CANCEL
At this time start the DAT machine playing a backup tape through its AES/EBU digital output,
and press ENTER. Alternately, press CANCEL to exit from this operation .
When backup data is received from the DAT player, the display changes to show the current file
number and the percent completion for the current file:
FILE 1 OF 193
00% RESTORED
Restore will proceed until all files are restored; the display will show the number of files
successfully restored. Files received with DAT tape errors are skipped.
