Transposition: Shifting Pitch
in Semitone Steps
The PSR-48 TRANSPOSE function makes
it possible to shift the pitch of the entire
keyboard up or down in semitone intervals
up to a maximum of six semitones.
Transposing" the pitch of the PSR-48
keyboard makes it easier to play in difficult
key signatures, and you can simply match
the pitch of the keyboard to the range of a
singer or other instrumentalist.
The TRANSPOSE A and ▼ buttons ®
are used for transposition. Press the A
button to increase the pitch of the
keyboard, or the ▼ button to lower the
pitch. The selected degree of transposition
will be displayed on the VOICE/ PITCH/
TRANSPOSE/ VOLUME display ©while
the TRANSPOSE A or ▼ button is
pressed, and for approximately 3 seconds
after either TRANSPOSE button is
released.
The transposition range is from -6 to 6,
with -6 corresponding to downward
transposition by 6 semitones, and 6
corresponding to upward transposition by
6 semitones (see chart below). 0 is the
"normal" keyboard pitch value. The normal
transpose value (0) can be recalled at any
time by pressing both the TRANSPOSE A
and ▼ buttons at the same time (the
transpose value is automatically set to 0
whenever the power switch is turned ON).

PSR-48 erleichtert oft das Spielen mit
schwierigen Tbnarten. Außerdem
können Sie damit die Tonhöhe des
Keyboards an Sänger und
Begleitinstrumente anpassen.
Zum Eingeben des TVansponierbetrags
werden die TRANSPOSE-Teisten (¡j)
A
und ▼ verwendet. Die Taste A erhöht
die Tbnlage des Manuals, während ▼ sie
senkt. Der eingegebene
TVansponierbetrag wird vom VOICE/
PITCH/ TRANSPOSE/ VOLUME-
Display ©während Drücken und drei
Sekunden nach Loslassen der
TRANSPOSE-Tbste
A bzw. ▼
angegeben.
Der Transponierbereich liegt zwischen
-6 imd +6 Halbtönen, wobei -6 einer
Absenkung von 6 Halbtönen entspricht,
während 6 eine Erhöhung um 6
Halbtöne bedeutet (siehe nachfolgende
Tabelle). "0" ist hierbei die
Standardtonlage des Keyboads. Sie
können jederzeit durch gleichzeitiges
Drücken der TRANSPOSE-Tasten
A
und ▼ auf die Standardtonlage
rückstellen. Nach Einschalten des PSR-
48 ist stets die Standardtonlage
eingestellt.

La fonction TRANSPOSE du PSR-48
permet de monter ou de baisser la hauteur
de tout le clavier par bonds d'un demi-ton
jusqu'à un maximum de six demi-tons. La
"transposition" de la hauteur du clavier du
PSR-48 facilite l'exécution en clefs à
armure difficile et permet d'accorder la
hauteur tonale du clavier sur le régistre
d'un chanteur ou d'un autre
instrumentaliste.
Les touches TRANSPOSE A et ▼ ©sont
utilisées pour la transposition. Appuyer
sur la touche A pour monter la hauteur du
clavier et sur la touche T pour la baisser.
L'ampleur de la transposition sélectionnée
sera indiquée sur l'affichage VOICE/
PITCH/ TRANSPOSE/ VOLUME ©.

La función TRANSPOSE del PSR-48
hace posible cambiar el tono de todo el
teclado ascendente o descendentemente
en intervalos de semitonos hasta un

"transposición" del tono del teclado del
PSR-48 facilita la interpretación en
signaturas de clave difícil, y usted podrá
adaptar de forma simple el tono del
teclado al tono de un cantante o de otro
instrumentista.

valor de trasposición normal (0) puede
