With proper installation, operation, and maintenance your Sapphire will provide years of
trouble-free service. If you do experience a problem, this troubleshooting guide will assist you
in diagnosing a problem and the corrective action to be taken.

Possible Causes

Gel fuel won't
Light.
A. Fuel may have water in it.
Check for liquid sitting on top of gel,
discard if necessary.
B. Fuel hasn't been stirred before use.
Use supplied stirrer to stir gel before
lighting.
C. Fuel can is empty.
Check fuel level in can. Replace if
empty.
D. Fuel may be cold.
Gel must be at room temp to burn
correctly.

Low flames or
flames won't stay
lit.
A. Fuel may have water in it.
Check for liquid sitting on top of gel,
discard if necessary.
B. Fuel hasn't been stirred before use.
Use supplied stirrer to stir gel before
lighting.
C.
Turbo-disc assembly not sitting flat in
unit.
Remove Turbo-Disc assembly and in-
spect the area underneath for debris.
D. Fuel can may have been left open.
Replace Fuel
E. Fuel may be cold.
Gel must be at room temp to burn
correctly.
