C. Extinguishing Appliance

Carefully pull drawer outwards until
fully extended and use supplied
snuffer to completely cover top of can
for a few seconds to fully extinguish
flame.

Once unit is cool, place lid tightly on
fuel can or properly dispose of can if
empty.
While the Sapphire you purchased is designed to be
as low maintenance and easy to use as possible, there
are a few things you can do to prolong the life of your
unit and keep it looking and working like new.
Inspect the unit for warping, cracks or other
damage. Repair as necessary.
Remove glass gems and examine surface and
area around glass cylinder. Remove any
debris that may have fallen in glass.
Clean glass cylinder and outside of unit with
water and a clean soft cloth. For stainless
steel model a household stainless steel
cleaner can be used.
Observe unit to ensure correct operation.
C. Extinguishing Appliance
It is strongly recommended to allow the
fuel to burn out completely with each
use. If the can must be extinguished, you
must wear heat-resistant gloves. Plan a
place to set the turbo disc assembly.
Make sure when lifting the turbo disc
assembly that you don’t raise the can of
fuel. Follow extinguishing guidelines
below.
