Advanced Features
Connecting Four Additional Heads
When either licence package has been enabled, a total of eight heads
can be connected and controlled by the CP4. There are only six
Ethernet connectors on the rear of the CP4, so a powered Ethernet hub
is required to provide additional connectivity.
V4110-0003 Advanced Functions Licence
The advanced functions licence provides increased capacity of shots,
shows and users. Camera heads and shots can also be named by
users.
Multiple Users
An additional three user names can be created with the advanced
functions licence.
1. Either at login or in the Manage Users window, create a new user
name. See Creating and Editing User Names on page 11.
2. From the User menu select the
required user name.
Configuration settings, shots and shows are stored under each user
name.
Shot Storage Capacity
The advanced functions licence increases the shot storage capacity of
the CP4 from 40 to 200. This has the effect of introducing multiple grid
pages to the shot grid. In total, there are five grid pages each consisting
of 40 shot positions.
The grid pages are selected with number
buttons on the top bar of the Home Screen.
