How to Balance
Set auto tension dial to F shown at right
and test sew on a sample of your fabric.

Correct Balance
When the lower looper thread tension is too loose;
-Move the lower looper thread tension
lever (red) fine tuning
toward position a higher .
- Or, the needle thread tension (orange move fine tuning lever
or blue) position toward a lower .
When the upper looper thread tension is too loose;

the upper looper thread tension Move fine tuning lever
(green) position toward a higher .
- Or, the needle thread tension (orange move fine tuning lever
or blue) position toward a lower .
When the needle thread tension is too loose;
-
the needle thread tension (orange Move fine tuning lever
or blue) position toward a higher .
-Or, the upper looper thread tension move fine tuning lever
(green) position toward a lower .

desired stitch type with the Auto Tension Dial (ATD).
Tension may be fine tuned with the Fine Tuning Levers
according to the following variables
1) Type and thickness of fabric
2) Needle size
3) Size, type and fibre content of thread
