he Rice Lake RL-330 Series Dial Scales are lightweight and easy to use. They are accurate, sturdy, and safe for for all
home based patients or individual use. RL-330 Series include models RL-330HHL (Lb only) and RL-330HHD (both Lb and
Kg).

With the Rice Lake RL-330 Series, there are certain precautions that should be taken to prevent personal injury to the user
and damage to your scale. Please follow these instructions carefully:
•
Do not attempt to transport the scale while someone is standing on it.
•
Do not drop the scale or subject it to violent shocks.
•
For accurate weighing, the scale must be placed on a flat, stable surface.
•
Weight exceeding the maximum capacity (330 lb/150 kg) may damage your scale.
•
This scale is designed for personal use only and not designed for commercial/industrial use.
•
The scale is not waterproof so avoid contact with excessive moisture.
•
Never place the scale close to heat radiating appliances, for example, stoves.
•
This scale is not intended for use by individuals with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or
deficiencies in experience or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
Scale Setup and Use
Use the following steps to set up the Rice Lake RL-330 Series scale.
1. Remove the ready assembled scale out of its packaging.
2. Place the scale on a flat, firm surface. Ensure that the floor surface is free from moisture to avoid the possibility of
slipping.
