First aid kit
i Check expiration dates and contents for
completeness at least once a year and
replace missing/expired items.
The first aid kit is located in the trunk on the
left side (CLK coupe) or on the right side (CLK
cabriolet), secured by a hook and loop
fastener.

X Loosen hook and loop fastener.
The first aid kit can be removed.
Vehicle tool kit
The vehicle tool kit is located in the space
underneath the trunk floor.
The vehicle tool kit includes:
R Alignment bolt
R Collapsible wheel chock
R Hex wrench 19
R Jack
R Pair of gloves
R Straps for soft top emergency operation 19
R TIREFIT kit 20
R Towing eye bolt
R Wheel wrench
R Spare wheel bolts 21
i The hex wrench 19 is located in the
Mercedes-Benz literature pouch.
X Removing: Open the trunk ( Y page 77).
X Lift the trunk floor using the floor handle.
X Engage the floor handle on the upper trunk
lip.
19 CLK cabriolet only.
20 CLK 63 AMG only.
21 Vehicles with spare wheel only.
