Non-stick Coating
The grill plates and raclette dishes of your raclette are provided with a non-stick coating. Do
not use hard or sharp objects for scratching or cutting on the coatings. Always remove your
foods from the coated surfaces, before cutting. We will not be liable for damage to the non-stick
coating where metal utensils or similar objects have been used.
Cooking on a non-stick surface minimises the need for oil or fat, food can easily be removed
and does not stick. Additionally, cleaning is easier. Before first use, wipe the non-stick surface
with a little amount of oil. Do not use metal (or other abrasive) scourers for cleaning the non-
stick coating. Wipe with hot soapy water. Remove stubborn residue with a non abrasive plastic
scouring pad or nylon washing brush.
Any discolouration that may occur will only detract from the appearance and will not affect the
cooking performance.
Please adhere to the following precautions:
• Do not use the appliance with the non-stick coating being scratched, cracked or detached
due to overheating.
• Only use wooden or heat-resistant plastic cooking utensils to stir and serve the food. Do not
use spray-on non-stick coatings. Do not use violence. Clean the cooking plates with hot dish-
water and a soft sponge or nylon brush.
