Changing the Rash Mode
• ^1-5 Exposure Compensation
You can use this setting to prevent your subject being too
dark (underexposed) when the surroundings are
extremeiy bright, such as at a ski-resort or in backlit
conditions.
• Exposure Compensation
You can use this setting to prevent your subject being too
bright (overexposed) when the surroundings are
extremely dark, such as on a spotlit stage.
Night Scene (Slow-sync)
This mode is effective for shooting subject with a night
scene in the background.
Using a slow shutter speed, you can shoot faraway
night scenes where the flash will not reach.
Even after the flash has fired, make sure the person in
the photograph does not move until you hear the film
advance sound.
•The red-eye reduction function operates.
• In some conditions, may give better results._For_
this reason, it is best to take the picture in both '
and ®«no modes.
o Because of the slow shutter speeds (up to 4 seconds) In
dark places in ® , $)+i.5, ^hi.s, and modes you
must use a tripod to keep the camera steady.
