Viewfinder Information;
Displayed at the bottom of the viewing area.
1 AF in-focus symbol: Lights up when AF is
possible. Blinks at 8Hz when AF is not pos
sible. In Depth of Field Mode, blinks at first
and second in-focus. Blinks at 4FIz when the
subject is out of the focus zone.
2 Exposure symbol: Lights up for correct ex
posure and flash charge completion. Blinks
at 2Hz for camera-shake warning. Blinks
8Hz for out of coupling range warning. Off
when flash is charging.
Light Metering System;
TTL full aperture metering using SPC: Evaluati
ve metering.
Exposure Modes:
(1) Intelligent Program AE, (2) Depth-of-Field
AE, (3) TTL program flash AE (with built-in
flash or the Speedlite 160E), automatic fill-in
flash and automatic flash at low-light level, (4)
A-TTL program flash AE (with Speedlite 420EZ
and 300EZ)
Camera-shake Warning;
When automatically-set shutter speed falls 0 to
0.5 steps below 1/focal length of the lens in use,
“P" blinks at 2Hz. No camera-shake warning
when the built-in flash or dedicated flash is
used.
