4. To release the remote control, first rotate the
main switch to "R" and then unplug the Remote
Switch. If the Remote Switch is unplugged first, the
running lock will still be on and the film will
continue to run.
Finder Cover
The finder cover should be attached to the eyepiece
whenever you are filming while not looking through
the viewfinder—when filming by remote control or
when using a tripod, for example. The cover will
prevent light from coming through the eyepiece and
spoiling the film. It is particularly necessary when
filming with the light at your back and your eye is
not to the eyepiece.
