Checking Film Advance

With the main switch at "R”, press the shutter

release lever all the way in while looking through

the viewfinder. If the film transport indicator moves

up and down, the film is being transported cor
rectly. If it doesn’t, take out the cartridge and turn

its spindle clockwise to remove any film slack. Then
load it again.

Footage Counter

This functions during photography to count the
amount of exposed footage. It automatically returns

to "S" when the cartridge is taken out.
