Keeping shutter release button lightly pressed, rotate lens focusing ring in the di

rection that focus-to-left arrow (◄) or focus-to-right arrow (►) indicates, until the

arrow disappears and in-focus indicator • appears.

If focus-to-left arrow (◄) does not

disappear when you turn focus

ring conterclockwise to the limit,

subject is closer than the lens’

closest focused distance. Move

back from the subject.

Confirm in-focus indicata • appears, then fully depress

shutter release button to take the picture.
