Notes on the rechargeable battery pack
Caution
Never lea\’e the battery pack in temperatures above
such as in a car parked in the
sun or under direct sunlight.
The battery pack heats up
During charging or recording, the battery pack heats up. This is caused bv energ\ that
has been generated and a chemical change ;ÿ\at has occurred inside the battery pack.
This is not cause for concern and is normal.
Be sure to observe the following
• Keep the battery pack away from fire.
• Keep the battery pack dry.
• Do not open nor try to disassemble the battery pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to anv mechanical shock.
The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicaUM' flashes rapidly just after turning on the camcorder with a fulK
charged batterv pack, the batter\’ pack should be replaced with a new fully charged
one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures from 10^'C to 30'‘C. lanver temperatures
require a longer charging time.
