Warning Indicators
If indicators flash in the viewfinder or in the display window, check the following:
1>: you can hear the beep sound when the BEEP is set to ON.

E The battery is weak or dead.
Slow flashing: The battery is weak.
Fast flashing: The battery is dead.
[2] The tape is near the end.
The flashing is slow.
@] The tape has run out.
The flashing becomes rapid.
5] No tape has been inserted.
[H The tab on the tape is out (red).
El Moisture condensation has occurred (p, 36).
0 The video heads may be contaminated (p'. 37).
This indicator appears only on the viewfinder.
E Some other trouble has occurred.
Disconnect the power source and contact your Sony dealer or local authorized facility.
E
The lithium battery is weak or is not installed (p. 31).
