CLOCK SET*

Select this item to reset the date or time.

Items for CAMERA Mode Only

WIND

• Select ON to reduce wind noise when recording in strong wind.
• Normally select OFF.

D ZOOM* (CCD-TR83/TR93 only)

• Select ON to activate digital zooming.
• Select OFF to not use the digital zoom. The camcorder goes back to 12x zoom.

AUTO DATE*

• Select ON to record the date for f 0 seconds after recording has started.
• Select OFF to not record the date.

REC LAMP*

• Select OFF wherryou do not want the camera recording/battery lamp at the front of the unit to light

up.

• Normally select ON.

Items for PLAYER Mode Only

Select ON to minimize picture deterioration when editing.

Normally select OFF.

HiFi SND

• Normally select STEREO.
• Select 1 or 2 to play back a dual sound track tape.

• These settings are retained even when the battery is removed, as long as the lithium battery is in

place.
