Selecting a Particular Disc
Locating a Particular Point in a Selection
Press one of the DISC selectors (1 to 10)
to select the
disc you want.
Play will begin from the first selection on that disc.

Locating a selection by track number
This operation is possible only with the remote commander.
Press the TRACK selector (1 to 20) which corresponds to
the selection you want to piay. (To choose a number greater
than 20, see the note below.)
Play will begin from the beginning of the selection.
Locating a selection in sequence

You can locate the beginning of a desired selection during
play.
To locate the beginning of the
selection being played
Press Kd once.
To locate the beginning of the next
selection
Press once.
Continue to press either button to continue to move forward
or backwards through the seiection list without stopping.
You cannot, however, skip to the next disc.
While in stop mode,
it is also possible to move forward or
backwards through the selection list by using Wd or .
Locating a point within a selection
(Manual Search)
You can locate a particular point in a selection during play by
monitoring the high-speed sound. This operation is possible
only with the remote commander.
To go back at high speed
Keep pressed.
To go ahead at high speed
Keep ►► pressed.
Release the button at the desired point.
To locate at high speed
Press or ►► in the pause mode. The search speed
will increase by three times, but there will be no sound. Find
the desired point you want to stop by observing the display.
If you continue to press-*d / ►►
If you continue to press ►► once the end of the disc has
been reached. will appear in the window. Press
or to return to the normal display.
If you continue to press -♦* at the beginning of a disc, play
will automatically begin at the first selection.
To choose a selection whose number is greater than 20
This operation is possible only with the remote commander.
Use the ^^0 button and the Jj to ^ buttons.
Ex. to play track No.32
1 Press >20.
2 Press 3 , then
[ 2 ,
Ex. To play track No.30.
1 Press >20!.
2 Press 3 , then
To .
To display the total number of selections and time on a disc
Select the disc with the DISC selector.
Press ■ while the cursor (J blinks under the selected disc number.
(It blinks while the disc is being pulled out from the magazine.)
The total number of selections and the total amount of playing time
will be displayed for a few seconds after the disc is pulled out. To
display this again, press TIME twice in the stop mode.
