Installation Instructions

2007 Yamaha

GRIZZLY 700

V.A.L.E.™ Slip-On Exhaust System with M-7 Aluminum Canister
Part # 005-1790406V

1. Make sure the quad is completely cool before starting

the installation. Make sure the quad is secure on a level
surface and the wheels are chocked to prevent the quad
from rolling.

2. For easier installation, remove the body parts listed:

- Seat

- Left foot pan assembly

- Left side body panel

3. Remove the mid-pipe joint cover to expose the springs

connecting the head pipe with the mid-pipe. Remove
the spring. The OEM gasket will be re-used with the TBR
exhaust system.

4. Remove the muffler mount bolt and remove the muffler

assembly.

5. Remove the OEM heat shield from the muffler assembly

and attach it to the bracket located on the TBR muffler
using the original hardware (We applied a small amount
of grease onto each bolt to help it stick in place while we
aligned the heat shield to the TBR brackets).

6. Use the 4 (four) 6 x 14mm socket head cap screws and

split lock washers to loosely attach the X-Lite™ ring to
muffler inlet using the split-lock washers provided. (See
V.A.L.E.™ Assembly Detail below) Leave loose for now.

7. Make sure gasket is either in the TBR slip-on tube or

on the OEM headpipe and slip the muffler assembly
into place (joining the TBR slip-on and OEM headpipe).
Attach the muffler with the 8 x 25mm Flange Bolt
provided.

8. Attach spring at muffler joint.
