18. Install mid-pipe section using the supplied barrel clamp and
8mm flange bolt to secure in place. Tighten header nuts then
mid-pipe bolt and clamp.
19. Re-install left and right fairings. Confirm adequate clearance
between fairings and exhaust tubing. Make adjustments if
necessary.
20. Attach the X-Ring V.A.L.E.™ assembly to the muffler
canister using the 4 (four) 6mm x 14mm socket head cap
screws. Leave loose for now.
21. Re-install heat shield and attach muffler brackets under the
heat shield using the 2 OEM bolts and 6mm nuts.

10. Remove upper exhaust tube heat shield mounting bolts.
This bolt will not be used with the TBR exhaust.
11. Remove right side driver’s foot peg bolts and carefully
remove the exhaust tube heat shield.
12. Loosen the OEM barrel clamp connecting the exhaust tube
and header.
13. Carefully remove muffler and exhaust tube with heat
shield.
14. Remove left and right side fairings.
15. Remove servo cables from header. You can completely remove
cables from upper servo also but you need to keep servo
plugged in.
16. Remove header assembly.
17. Install TBR header assembly using the OEM exhaust gasket
between header and engine. Attach using the OEM nuts.
