Removing the Status Light Board

Follow the instructions in

Remove the battery (see

).


 

3.

Remove the optical drive (see

Remove the module cover (see

Follow the instructions from

Remove the keyboard (see

7.

Remove the palm rest (see

Removing the Palm Rest

).


 

8.

Lift the connector latch to disconnect the status light board cable from the connector on the system board.

 

9.

Remove the screw that secures the status light board to the computer base.

 

10.

Lift the status light board off the computer.
