1.

Follow the instructions in

2.

Remove the battery (see

).


 

3.

Remove the optical drive (see

Removing the Optical Drive

).


 

4.

Remove the module cover (see

Removing the Module Cover

).


 

5.

Follow the instructions from

step 4

to

step 6

in

Removing the Hard Drive

.


 

6.

Remove the ten screws that secure the middle cover to the computer base.

 

7.

Remove the keyboard (see

Removing the Keyboard

).


 

8.

Remove the palm rest (see

Removing the Palm Rest

).


 

9.

Remove the display assembly (see

Removing the Display Assembly

).


 

10.

Release the four tabs that secure the middle cover to the computer base.

 

11.

Lift the middle cover off the computer base.
