PC Card Reader

Follow the instructions in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

Remove the hinge cover (see
Hinge Cover
).
3.
Remove any installed media bay device (see
Media Bay Devices
).
4.
Remove the keyboard (see
Keyboard
).
5.
Remove the palm rest (see
Palm Rest
).
6.
Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the PC Card reader to the computer.
7.
Use the pull-tab to disconnect the PC Card reader connector from the system board.

NOTICE:
To avoid damaging the PC Card reader connector, do not rotate or rock the connector as you remove it. Use firm and even pressure to lift the
pull-tab vertically.
