Remove the display assembly bezel latch by removing the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws that secure it to the display assembly top cover.

Remove the plastic hinge covers from the hinges.
Replacing the Hinge Covers
1.
Attach the display assembly to the bottom case assembly.
2.
Close the display assembly and snap the hinge covers in place over the hinges.
Palm Rest Assembly
HINT:
The right hinge cover is labeled "R," and the left hinge cover is labeled "L." The labels face the back of the computer.
