7. Peel the pull-tab on the display cable and lift the pull-tab to disconnect the display cable from the display cable connector.
8. Lift the display panel off the display back cover.
Replacing the Display Panel
1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin .
2. Connect the display cable to the display cable connector on the display panel.
3. Align the display panel with the display back cover.
4. Replace the display panel brackets (see Replacing the Display Panel Brackets ).
5. Replace the display bezel (see Replacing the Display Bezel ).
6. Replace the hinge caps (see Replacing the Hinge Caps ).
7. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Display Assembly ).
