General preferences Description
Show balloon hints Applies to all tabs. Context sensitive help activated when
you hover the cursor over any column, button, or object.
Warn before tab change
while adding slides
Applies to New Slides tab. A warning displays if you
attempt to access another tab and you have not completed
the case.
Display advisory message
when restoring Pan
Not relevant for Artisan™ Link.
View reports on screen
before printing
Applies to all tabs. A report preview displays on the screen
when you select a report.
Add slides screen Applies to New Slides tab only
Case field When you open the New Slides tab, the cursor starts in the
Case field.
Protocol field When you open the New Slides tab, the cursor starts in the
Protocol field.
Automatically print labels as
slides are added
If selected, slide labels are printed as you add slides in the
New Slides tab. Print and use labels must also be selected
in the Slide Label configuration.
If not selected, you must print the labels manually using the
Print Labels button.
3. Click Save to save your changes or click Cancel to discard any changes.
Show Only Slides You Programmed
The Workflow tab lists all slides that have been entered into the system but have not been run on an
instrument. You can choose to display only the slides that you programmed.
1. Click My Slides in the Workflow buttons.
2. To view slides programmed by all users, unclick the My Slides button.
Customize Slide Column Headings
To help you organize and analyze slide information, you can choose the column headings (fields)
you want and the order in which they display.
