Install Mounts & 1st Sections
Start with the left wing. If cylinders are not pre-installed,
do not install them until step 64 on page 14.
Install Mount
Refer to Figure 5 (shown without seed box for clarity)
15. Select one new of:
113-878H 3S-5000 MARKER MOUNT WLDMT LH
or
113-880H 3S-5000 MARKER MOUNT WLDMT RH
The first section pre-assembled.
Pinch / Crush Hazard:
The mount+section assembly is a heavy flexible object. It may
weigh as much as 700 pounds (320 kg). Do not cut any ties
holding the assembly folded until instructed to do so. Attach
lift lines
as instructed. If the assembly is free to hinge, it
could pinch or crush, resulting in serious injury or death.
16. Attach lift lines so that the assembly is kept folded
during lift, and so that the same lines can be used to
unfold the section when installed.
Use the lift or hoist to position the mount ( or )
forward of the LH or RH wing main tool bar, at the
outside end.
17. Select six sets new:
802-072C HHCS 3/4-10X9 1/2 GR5
804-023C WASHER LOCK SPRING 3/4 PLT
803-027C NUT HEX 3/4-10 PLT
Insert each bolt from below, and secure with lock
washers and nuts .
18. With the first section still supported by the lift, cut any
shipping ties or lines holding the assembly folded.
Cut any ties securing the cylinder to the section. Use
the lift to carefully unfold the first marker section
onto a support stand.
Install Lift Arm
Refer to Figure 6 (shown with first section unfolded)
19. Select one new:
401-452H LOWER MARKER LIFT ARM WLDMNT
and two sets new:
802-041C HHCS 1/2-13X3 1/2 GR5
803-019C NUT LOCK 1/2-13 PLT
Secure the arm to the first section with the
bolts . Thread lock nuts to contact. Allow arm
to pivot freely.
20. Repeat step 15 through step 19 for the right wing.
