Meter Exchange (25 Series only)
1.
Empty seed box.
Note: The sliding gate at gravity-fed seed meters only
shuts off seed flow if a meter is present.
2. Clean out meter. See “Cleaning Out Meters” on
page 63.

3. Loosen the screw clamp securing the grommet to
the inner sliding seed tube.

Release the upper latch.
5. Swing the drive mount away from the meter.

Release the lower latch.

7.
Slide inner seed tube up and out of meter grommet
(not shown).
8. Lift meter body up, then back, and remove the
meter. Catch the seed tube so that it doesn’t fall to
the ground.
9. Remove the screw clamp from the grommet.
