The Phase Cut Dimming Modules are to be installed in dry,
indoor locations ONLY.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside of the Phase Cut
Dimming Module. Please return the device to OSRAM
Sylvania Inc if service is required.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for part 18 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful
interference in which case the user will be required to correct
the interference at his own expense.
Modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment under FCC
rules.

The Phase Cut Dimming Module (PCDM) provides an
interface between the Phase Cut dimmable (forward
and reverse phase) ballasts/LED drivers and the
ENCELIUM GreenBus II™ communication network.
The PCDM is automatically addressed as soon as it is
connected to an Energy Control Unit (ECU).
Individually addressable, the PCDM enables each
group or zone of fixtures to be independently
controlled and configured to best meet the needs of
the facility.
The PCDM is designed to control popular load types
such as Incandescent/Halogen lamps, Fluorescent
ballasts, LED fixtures, and LED/CF lamps. The phase
cut dimmable fixtures connected to a PCDM can then be controlled by any of the Encelium low voltage
wall station controllers, the Touch Screen panel or from Polaris 3D™ software through the GreenBus
II™ communication network. PCDM has a built-in relay which provides ON/OFF switching control in
addition to smoothly dimming the fixtures.

• Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to
tampering by unauthorized personnel.
• The use of accessory equipment is not recommended by OSRAM Sylvania as it may cause an
unsafe condition.
• Do not use this equipment for other than the intended use.
