13. Assemble kit spindles.
a. Remove three small bolts securing vac-
uum activated 4WD unit and the assembly
itself.
b. Remove four bolts securing spindle as-
sembly to knuckle and separate assembly
from knuckle.
c. Install spindle assembly into new kit
knuckle in same fashion removed from OE
knuckle.
d. Install vacuum activated 4WD unit and se-
cure using 3 OEM bolts removed from origi-
nal. Make sure vacuum lines face upwards.
14. Install front axle half shafts.
a. Position axle between spindle and differ-
ential.
b. Insert axle end into spindle and reinstall
OE axle nut removed during disassembly. Do
not tighten at this time.
