4. Insert the vertical fin into the pocket on the top of

the fuselage. Stand 6–8 feet (3–4 meters) from the

rear of the airframe. Check that the angle between

the wing panels and fin are equal. The position of

the fin can be moved to correct for any alignment

issues. Once satisfied with the fit, remove the fin

from the fuselage. Prepare 1/4-ounce (10cc) of

6-minute epoxy and brush a light coating on the

fin and in the pocket on the fuselage where they

contact each other. Insert the fin back into the

pocket and check the alignment again. As the

epoxy cures, continue to check the alignment of the

fin to the wing until the epoxy has fully cured.

Hook and loop tape

1. Apply the hook and loop tape to the bottom of

the battery. Use the softer fabric side of the hook

and loop tape on the battery.

2. Apply the hook and loop tape inside the

fuselage in the battery compartment. Use the

harder plastic side of the hook and loop tape on

the battery.

3. Place the battery into the battery compartment in

the fuselage. The battery will be positioned as far

back in the compartment as possible to achieve the

correct Center of Gravity when you are using the

recommended setup.
