Ruler
With the Ruler tool, the user can easily measure distances, amplitudes, intervals and other relevant parameters on the
chart.
The Ruler tool is selected through a button located on the toolbar of the chart viewer form.
When selected, the mouse pointer changes to a large cross to mark the region of measurement.
The tool is operated by clicking on the selected point in the chart and dragging the selection to reach the desired point of
measurement as described below:
1. when clicking, a rectangle
marquee is established at the
originally clicked point
