Register additional video equipment
If you connect additional video
sources or equipment to your
BeoVision 5, then you must register
the equipment in the Connections
menu.
The settings you select in the
Connections menu tell the
BeoVision 5 what is connected.
For information about where and
how to connect extra equipment,
refer to the chapters Connect
additional equipment on page 24 as
well as Socket panels on page 28.
What is connected?
Registering the equipment connected to
BeoVision 5 enables you to activate it with the
Beo4 remote control.

V. Tape DVD Decoder
> Press MENU to call up the main menu.
> Press 3 to call up the Setup menu.
> Press 4 to call up the Connections menu (5 if a
motorised stand is installed).
> Press tt to select a socket.
> Press ▲ or ▼ to step through the list of
available equipment types until you find what
you have connected. Select None if nothing is
connected.
> When you have selected your equipment types,
press GO to store your settings or press EXIT to
leave all menus without storing.
