Output Power Distribution Unit – Wiring Diagram
The Trusted
TM
Output Power Distribution Unit is designed to distribute the +ve field loop power for the
24-120V dc range of Trusted
TM
sourcing output modules. The output 0V reference and 0V power
return is via the Trusted
TM
Versatile Field Termination Assembly (VFTA).
Up to three output modules may be supported providing the total load does not exceed the maximum
rated capacity of the Unit.
Each supply stud is capable is capable of supplying the maximum rated capacity and can be used in
single or dual configuration as required. Dual configuration may be used where the supply is fed via
blocking diodes.
Where the total load current for three Trusted
TM
Analogue or Digital Output Modules is less than 6A,
the supply can be fed via the on-board blocking diodes through terminal block TB1. If this method of
supply is used, insulating sleeves must be fitted to the redundant power studs.
