Step 1. Drill the two 2.125” diameter access holes for the coolant tubes and the four .223/.219” diameter tube

support bracket mounting holes in the back of the cabinet. Refer to figure 1 for location and
dimensions.

Step 2. Mount the drive in the cabinet. Refer to figure 1 for location of lift points.

Important: The drive covers must be in place while lifting the drive.

Step 3. Loosen the 4 M5 screws at the top of the 2 drive covers, and then remove the 20 M5 screws that hold

the covers on the front of the drive. Remove the covers.

Step 4. Attach the input tube assembly (item 10) and output tube assembly (item 11) in their respective

locations using the supplied fasteners. For each tube assembly, align a gasket (item 12) over the hole
in the aluminum chillplate, place the tube assembly over the gasket, and fasten with two 5/16” split
ring lock washers and 5/16” SHCS screws.

Step 5. Pre-torque the four 5/16” screws to between 5.1 to 5.7 ft-lb. Then torque to between 8.5 to 9.5 ft-lb

(11.5 to 12.9 N-m).

Step 6. Install the tube support brackets (item 15) as shown in figure 1. Fasten using four 1/4” flat head

washers and four 1/4-20 hex head Taptite screws (items 16 and 17). Tighten until no space exists
between the screw head and the bracket.

Important: A wrench must be applied to the wrench flats of the coolant tube assemblies (items 10 and 11)

prior to the assembly of 3/4 NPT male fittings (user-supplied).

Step 7. Re-install the drive covers. Torque all cover screws to between 23 to 28 in-lb (2.6 to 3.2 N-m).

This completes the installation of the LiquiFlo panel mount kit.

!

ATTENTION: The height and weight of the drive presents a potential hazard if allowed to stand
on end prior to installation of coolant tubes. Ensure proper rigging is used at all times to guard
against accidental tip over. Failure to observe this precaution could result in bodily injury or
damage to equipment.
