Removing an MOV Follow this procedure to remove the fan:
1. Remove all Lexan ™ guards that shield the MOVs.
2. Disconnect the power wiring to the MOV.
3. Remove the 2 screws that secure the MOV to the subpanel. (The
2 screws secure the MOV to the subpanel at the arrows shown in
Figure 1.)
4. Remove the MOV.

Installing an MOV Use this procedure to install an MOV:
1. Verify that the MOV has the correct rating.
2. Position the MOV in its proper location.
3. Secure the MOV to the subpanel using the 2 screws.
4. Reconnect all power wiring to the MOV.
5. Verify wiring per system schematics.
6. Replace any Lexan guards that you removed.
7. Dispose of the removed part according to your company’s proce-
dures and local ordinances.
