Description
This Series 7000 sensor is scheduled to be discontinued in the
near future and will be transitioned to the R7KJS replacement kit.

The R7KJS replacement kit includes a 42JS VisiSight™ sensor,
two stainless steel replacement brackets (for left or right
mounting surfaces), and mounting hardware. The small footprint
stainless steel bracket included in the kit allows the user to
securely mount the 42JS VisiSight using existing Series 7000
mounting holes.
The 42JS VisiSight family of sensors offers several
enhancements over the Series 7000:
• Visible light source for ease of alignment
• Patented ASIC design offers linear sensitivity adjustment,
stability indication and excellent noise immunity
• Two LED indicators (power/stability, output status) located
in the top of the unit (Series 7000 has a single output
indicator on the back of the sensor)
• Additional transmitted beam models with infrared light
source for superior crosstalk immunity
• Input to disable light source on transmitted beam emitter
allows testing of transmitted beam pair
All these enhanced features in a cost-effective replacement kit.
To install the 42JS VisiSight on the 60-2619 swivel/tilt bracket
designed for the Series 7000 use the 60-BJS-L2 bracket (sold
separately).

Mounting considerations
The R7KJS replacement kit requires additional clearance above;
allow at least 8 mm (0.31 in.) above the top of the Series 7000
photoelectric sensor. Note that the face of the 42JS VisiSight
sensor is offset by 10 mm (0.39 in.).
