Installing a Resistor
Use the following procedure to install a DC suppressor resistor (refer
to Figure 2):
1. Verify that the resistor is the correct size. R11 is a 10W resistor
and R12 is a 100W resistor.
2. Insert the resistor into the red Glastic bracket.
3. Secure the resistor with the mica washer, centering washer, flat
washers, lockwasher, nut and long screw through its center.
4. Connect the wires on each end of the resistor.
5. Install all Lexan shields that you removed.
6. Dispose of the removed part according to your company’s proce-
dures and local ordinances.

Removing the Capacitor
Use this procedure to remove the DC suppressor capacitor:
1. Remove all Lexan guards that shield the capacitor.
2. Disconnect the wires on each end of the capacitor.
3. Remove the 2 screws and flat washers that hold the capacitor to
the subpanel.
4. Remove the capacitor.
