Slide-In Fan Replacement (for 3000A 1395 DC Drives)

Preliminary Steps
Before replacing the slide-in fan, shut off the drive power, wait five
minutes for the voltage to discharge, open the disconnect bay door,
and remove the bay Lexan™ shielding.
Removing the Slide-In Fan and
Capacitor
1.
Disconnect the capacitor and fan connection plugs.
2.
Remove the capacitor from the mounting bracket, unscrewing the
rear nut.
3.
Pull the two mounting pins out from the front of the fan assem-
bly.
4.
Pull out the Lexan shielding and remove the fan.
