Important information concerning
the use of this kettle
1. Do not use the kettle for heating:
- milk (becomes burnt)
- soups (boil over and leave behind a taste of
grease)
- preĆprepared drinks such as tea or coffee
(stain the carafe).
2. Do not overfill the carafe - Risk of scalding if
water boils over!
Observe the MAX mark inside the carafe and on
the water level indicator.
3. Do not open the lid once the kettle has been
switched on. Risk of scalding if water has started
to boil!
How to use the kettle
1. Press button b and fill the carafe with the required
amount of water. You can also raise the lid so that
it is pointing straight up and then lift it off. The lid
must be vertical when it is replaced. The water
level indicator is to the left of the handle and can
be viewed from the outside.
2. Make sure the lid is properly engaged; otherwise
the automatic steamĆstop will not work.
3. The base must always be dry before the kettle is
placed onto it.
4. Plug in the kettle. Press the ON button; the indicaĆ
tor light will come on.
