d. The two (2) bottom screws with 12 point heads
enter from the backside of the runner. Use a

12 point box end wrench and turn the screws in
a few turns.

Install screws 17-0346 into the head breathing
fittings and over the support bracket slots.
See Picture 25.
f.
The induction system should now be mounted,
loosely, with no fasteners final tightened.
However, the fuel rail should already be
securely fastened and final tightened per the
torque specification. Verify that the fuel rail is
properly fastened before proceeding.
g.
After the tuned runner intake has been loosely
assembled to the manifold assembly, final
tighten all fasteners in the following order:
Starting with the

"-18 manifold to head
screws, tighten until a clamping load is just felt,
then back off

turn. Continue this procedure
with the four (4) throttle body to manifold
screws, the two (2) 17-0346 support bracket to
head breathing fitting screws and the four (4)
runner to throttle body screws. A shortened
Allen wrench will provide easy access to the top
right throttle body to manifold screw.

Using the same sequence as stated above,
tighten each screw until a clamping load is felt,
then tighten an additional

turn.

Tighten the four (4)

screws to 6-10 ft-lbs (72-120 in-lbs).
j.
Tighten the four (4) throttle body to manifold
screws to 6.7-7.5 ft-lbs (80-90 in-lbs).
k.
Tighten the four runner to throttle body screws
to 6.7-7.5 ft-lbs (80-90 in-lbs).
