Handset Control Procedures
How to Limit Manual Command with the Handset
A control on the Handset Options tab of the Station Options window (Station
Manager > Tools > Station Options > Handset Options tab) prevents use of
control modes with feedbacks of force or torque dimensions being used for
manual command.
By default, this control is
disabled.
To enable this control, you
must attain the
Configuration access level
in the Station Manager
application.
Best practice for this control:
-Enable (check) this control to prevent an operator from accidentally switching
the active control mode to force or torque when using the handset to control
actuator movement.
-Disable (click to clear) this control to allow the handset to use any control mode
for manual command.
