ROD Flow Buffer (units) ROD Flow Buffer (units) - blue-green: Indicator used as a label
for the pushbutton switch below it.
ROD Flow Buffer numeric display - pushbutton/indicator - gray:
Used to set the reserve flow capacity for run on demand. Push the
button to display the numeric keypad. With the keypad displayed,
use the number keys to define the desired value then press Enter
to set the value and return to the Auto Setup screen.
For example, assume a buffer of 20. The HPU starts at 30 gpm.
As flow demand increases past 10 gpm the demand plus buffer
(11 + 20) exceeds the capacity of the 30 gpm module so the next
pump module is turned on increasing capacity to 60 gpm. The
same thing occurs when flow demand increases past 40; demand
plus buffer (41-20) exceeds the capacity or the two pump modules
and the third pump module turns on increasing capacity to 90
gpm.
