Cutting using the Foot Pedal
The Foot Pedal may be used to Step Cut, Chop Cut, or with the masonry piece positioned vertically.
Using the Foot Pedal frees both of the operator’s hands for holding the masonry piece. The follow-
ing example utilizes the Step Cut method.
(A)
Position masonry piece.
Adjust the height of the Cutting
Head as necessary, start engine.
(B)
Open the Cooling Flow Control
Valve and adjust flow. Verify
proper cooling flow on
both sides of the blade.
(C)
Step Cut "Push" Stroke. Lower
Cutting Head 1/4" -1/2"
during Push Stroke.
(D)
Step Cut "Pull" Stroke. Lower
Cutting Head 1/4" -1/2"
during Pull Stroke.
(E)
Repeat Steps C and D until cut
complete. Turn the saw off when
work is complete.

Clean the Water Pump
suction of all debris.
(B)
Place the Water Pump in an ex-
ternal container of clean water.
Run the saw until clear water is
seen at the blade cooling ports
(Approx. 1 minute).
(C)
Clean the Water Basin.
